Devender is a humanitarian worker and passionate peace promoter based in interior Sindh. He has a sound background in community development and social activism. Currently heading one of the leading youth community-based organization namely “Malhi Social Development Organization” (MSDO), which strives to strengthen future leaders and empower Pakistan’s youth, aiming to further the message of peace. Belonging to a religious minority himself, Devender understands that these communities are highly marginalized and often neglected in almost every sphere of life. Devender has been leading the organization for the last five years during which he has spearheaded various initiatives pertaining to cultural events, education projects, and career counseling programs for the neglected sector of society without any regard for the religious or cultural background. He also possesses exceptional expertise in harnessing collective team synergy with working with a diverse range of groups and is adept at delivering on long-term commitments for cause-based and peace-driven work. He has significantly contributed to the most disregarded communities in District Umerkot and Tharparkar. Devender has an accomplished profile in chartering different peace and prosperity initiatives within marginalized communities in rural areas of Sindh.
