Mahrukh Memon is an MPhil scholar and Teaching Assistant at University of Sindh. She has been actively engaged in peace building and social change in Pakistan for past six years. She is a Peace Agent at Peace Without Borders-Pakistan and alumni at Community World Service Asia. Mahrukh is a social activist, trainer and a writer.
She has been an active volunteer for social causes at Circle K international, SOS village, Mukhtalif Magar Mutahid, Youth United for Social Change, Rising Pakistan, The Awakeners, Young Social Reformers and multiple independent campaigns to mention a few.
Besides, she is a former cultural ambassador of Pakistan to USA and currently serving in Pak-US Alumni Network. She is also an ambassador at Food Savers, actively fighting to eliminate food wastage and end hunger.
She is a passionate peacebuilder, currently working on diversity and inclusion under project Little Thoughts for Peace.
