Sajjad Ahmed has a graduation degree in Political Science from Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan. He is CEO of Taleemi Jirga Development Organization & currently working with Micro Merger as Field Monitor (Training & Monitoring) CRVS a project of UNICEF & Local Government Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He has also worked with DFID, IRC, USAID and currently with UNICEF funded project in Local Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He started his social work activities since he was in 8th class from free tuition center. He’s the founder/originator of Mardan Science Festival, which has been owned by the government of District Mardan and this MSF has been included in District Annual Budget Document. Mardan Science Festival is held each year now by the district government. He has also a considerable contribution in Girls specific education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Sajjad wishes to prevail peace & stability in his community to overcome the challenges of illiteracy, poverty, under age marriages through a peaceful dialogue and advocacy.
