Profile Brief

Shuraim Ahmad Malik is a Civil Engineer by profession and a humanist, peace activist and  community leader by passion. He is a passionate traveler with a deep obsession in the study of politics, history and cultures. Currently, he is working as a Co-Founder and Lead Trainer with  “Roshan Soch”, an initiative aimed to help guide young students of the community in  selecting their careers and creating human rights awareness among themselves. Roshan Soch  has organized 6 career counselling sessions in different schools and colleges up till now in which  300+ students were engaged. He has worked with Minerva as a Business Development Executive, an organization which provides recruitment services to its clients. He has been  actively involved in youth policy making process with School of Leadership Foundation in  association with Govt. of Pakistan and UNDP, attending Punjab Youth Led Policy Forum and  then selected for National Youth Led Policy Forum in order to assist in highlighting major issues  the youth of Pakistan is facing currently and propose solutions to address them.
Apart from  that, in order to better equip himself as a community leader, he has attended various leader  development training programs including Young Leaders Conference, Alwandi Leadership  Encampment, Social Media Leaders Conference, LCL Conference etc. At the grass root level, he  is working with Karwaan-e-Iqbal in initiating ration distribution campaigns in which funds and  ration are collected from rich people and are distributed among the needy ones. He has also  worked as a member of the organizing committee for establishing the Wall of Kindness in Taxila, in  which people leave their clothes and other things not used by them anymore and these things  are then distributed among deserving people as per their need without any cost. A firm believer  of peace and inclusivity, he is also working on promoting inter-faith harmony among different  sections in the community.
