Dr. Sorath Sindhu (from Karachi, Sindh) is a social activist who is known for her dauntless voice to take action against social and political unjust. Dr. Sindhu initially gained notice for her young female campaigner on social network and her straightforward speaking manner. She describes her role as a much larger effort to empower youth (especially women & girls) in Sindh.

She has successfully launched the campaigns for #SindhRejectsForcedConversion #SindhRejetsIslandOrdinance by which the government took actions for repealing the Island Ordinance. She has not only lauched campaigns on social networks but in the field as well. As she campaigned the awareness program of prevention of coronavirus at local level of rural areas. Recently, she has contributed as one of the active young members for Civic Education in Sindh and presented a bill for Civic Education in Sindh through standing committee of Provincial Assembly of Sindh.

She has contributed as speaker at various conferences / workshops / seminars on social and political issues. She considers sufficient action to address the Forced Conversions, Minority Issues in Pakistan, Women Empowerment through Economic Participations, Transgender Rights (as equal citizens) in Pakistan and Civic Education in Sindh.
