Tabish Abbasi is a Human right defender and freelance blogger from Muzaffrabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir. By Profession, Tabish Abbasi is an Engineer (BSc in Electrical Engineering & MPhil in Power Engineering) and currently serving as Project Coordinator at Huawei technologies, Islamabad. Since 2016, Tabish Abbasi is associated with registered NGO, Youth Parliament of Pakistan (under chairmanship of Abrar Ul Haq) as its member. Starting a journey as member of Youth Parliament of Pakistan (YPP), at present Tabish Abbasi is Deputy secretary General / Head for Kashmir and GB affairs in YPP. Hailing from village of Muzaffrabad, AJK -Tabish Abbasi is first ever Human right defender and Freelance blogger there. Tabish Abbasi and his friends from different parts of Muzaffarabad city, organized first ever SHIA-SUNNI iftar party in order to counter expected issues in 2018 when Shia Sunni conflicts were rising due to different controversies. Tabish Abbasi, being head of Kashmir Affairs, tried to increase religious Harmony in the region and for the first time in the history of YPP, a Hindu boy hailing from Interior Sindh was elected as General Secretary of YPP (Islamabad, GB & AJK Cabinet) nominated by Tabish Abbasi in his group. Tabish Abbasi along with different Youth representatives of AJK, arranged first ever visit to Christian community place in Muzaffrabad AJK on their holy day and celebrated their happiness with them. On recent Blasphemy issues in the country, Tabish Abbasi was first from Youth NGOs, who organized ZOOM meeting (personal get-together was banned due to COVID in AJK) on such topic. Tabish Abbasi is always an advocate of peace, interfaith harmony, volunteerism and patriotism. In his social circle, Tabish Abbasi has friends from all ideologies, nearly all political parties, all religious groups and from all over the AJK and major cities of Pakistan. Being, Freelance blogger, Tabish Abbasi always tries to raise social issues, Human rights violations, women/child rights violations, political issues, religious controversies with their pros and cons on basis of relevant knowledge and understanding. At International Level, Tabish Abbasi is part of the YPP team which arranged first ever online conference of Youth parliamentarians of Canada, UK and India.
