Tahir hails from Sargodha with his educational background in Mass Communication. He is currently working as a Lecturer in Journalism at the Higher Education Department. He is a true believer that through the power of media, education and good communication, we can make this world a better place to live in. For this, he writes columns in an English newspaper with his prime focus on countering extremism and extremist narratives.

He also works as a radio presenter and hosts a radio show named “*Radio Mukaalma (Radio Dialogue).” It is an effort to discuss those social issues on media which are of crucial importance and are much needed to talk about. He is also voluntarily working as “Friend of Corner” at Lincoln Corner. L.C is an initiative taken by the U.S. Consulate. It aims at promoting experiential and interactive learning through its diverse programming and well-designed sessions. He is the founder at Project Payback. It is an attempt to pay the society the best we have gotten from it so far. It encourages people to contribute in any capacity for the betterment of society and the world at large.
