Profile Brief

Rania Moomal Barner is currently pursuing her education in Law from Karachi University and has completed her diploma in ‘Global Leadership’ from Duke University. She has been associated with several media houses, including Hum News Channel, indulging in writing about society’s dark faces and how it has led to the deep-rooted misogyny and stereotypical narratives. She is volunteering with ‘Universal Human Organization Trust, ‘ spearheading several activities targeted at promoting inter-faith harmony, religious and cultural diversity.
Additionally
, she is also linked with ‘Ambassadors of Christ’ as a youth coordinator, involving in several faith-based activities focused on bringing forth an informed cohort from her community to sow the seeds of brotherhood and unity in the near future.  Through the same platform, she also works to create awareness among the community to harness the power of ‘love, ‘ “joy’ and ‘peace’ among the lives of striving women and girls.
She is also involved in leading girls’ groups for career development, professional training, and soft skills empowering them to excel in their lives. While associated with Kumak Foundation, she actively contributes to creating awareness about the Human Rights and Legal Rights of Women that are frequently suppressed, ignored, or threatened in our society. With this she aims to fight against the ‘Gender Based Violence’ probing in our society.
She is has also contributed in launching several legal awareness campaigns that are laser-focused on strengthening her community’s females providing economic or free of cost legal assistance and guidance.  The camps further strive to consolidate women’s stance in the community by connecting them with viable opportunities revolving around education and career. In addition to this, Rania has been involved in guiding several victims of cybercrime and cyber-bullying by advocating for ‘Digital Security & Harassment’ Initiatives and promoting a safe virtual realm for women and girls. With a zeal to serve humanity, she remains at the forefront to bring a positive change with her trivial existence in this world.
