Salamti Fellowship Program is an extensive ONE WEEK long residential program for the peace seekers aged between 18-35 years from all across Pakistan. The selected participants will be living together at a common place for 7 days and learn from experts, peace gurus and each other through extensive week-long workshops, exercises and interactive sessions. Location of the fellowship will be disclosed later.

To be eligible for Salamti Fellowship, you should be under the age of 35, must be a citizen of Pakistan and be fully available to participate during the complete 7 – day program.

The application form is mandatory to qualify for Salamti Fellowship Program. It is required by every participant to fill the application form and send it back to us – which will give us an insight into your thought process, understanding and expectations from Salamti Fellowship.

The increased chance of your selection for the fellowship depends on a number of components, first and foremost, the completion and submission of Salamti Fellowship Application Form. Once this is done, the shortlisted candidates would be required to carry out one Special Assignment/Activity to increase their chances of selection. Furthermore, preference would be given to individuals who already have on-ground presence through their initiatives or affiliation with some organization working for peace, tolerance, inter-faith harmony, social justice and in other related domains. The prior experience will help you to replicate the learned strategies in your communities. However, it is strongly recommended that even if you don’t have prior experience, but a passion for peace building – you should apply.

Once you have completed and successfully submitted the online application form, all of the received forms will be evaluated and after a thorough scrutiny the applications will be marked according to the set criteria. Later on, you will receive an email from our official address (peacewithoutborders.pk@gmail.com) informing you about the status of your application form. If the application is successful, you will then be notified about the next step which is an online interview. Shortlisted applicants will then be interviewed by team SFEA against the decided criteria and on-spot observations (if any).

After the online interview, shortlisted participants will be requested to undertake one special assignment that would include a community engagement driven activity on the subjects of peace and CVE. The applicant shall submit a one pager report and pictures from the event to team SFEA within the particular time duration assigned.

Shaoor Foundation for Education and Awareness (SFEA) will be responsible for managing all the accommodation related arrangements of the selected participants for 7 days.

Partial travel allowance (amount to be disclosed at a later stage) will be provided to all the selected participants by Shaoor Foundation, rest of the contribution will be on their own.

This fellowship is entirely merit based, fully funded and free of cost. Thus, you are not required to pay for any food expense, all of the food and living cost will be taken care of by Shaoor Foundation for Education and Awareness.

Yes, every participant will be sharing room with another training participant, in twin sharing.

You are required to wear earth tones with limited color vibrancy as the concept of this fellowship revolves around the attainment of inner peace and providing you all, a way towards self-reflection and community building. No heavy makeup/jewelry will be appreciated as well.

On your arrival to the designated location, you will be given a list of contact numbers of our team members that you can reach out to if there occurs any emergency.

Yes, the fellowship will be rescheduled to later dates with same fellows being our primary choice of participants.

If a selected participant is unable to attend the fellowship at a later date, we will be considering one of the other shortlisted fellows who were not being able to make it to our top 30 candidates.
