Sehat Call is a group of passionate members of PISE and is founded by our Salamti Fellow Ehsam Ullah from Cohort-I who decided to launch a helpline to facilitate the people of Gilgit Baltistan in availing the medical help required through call. The team of Sehat Call as professionals in their own fields decided to utilize their available expertise on health informatics, public health, awareness, networking planning, and development under the name of PISE.

At a time when social distancing is mandated by the governments globally and is one of the significant measures to curtail COVID-19 spread, they worked on providing a solution to the current healthcare system of Pakistan. The purpose of the helpline is to provide medical connect assistance to people of GB by expert doctors who cannot be reached during the pandemic by professional doctors. According to a current World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines policy, telemedicine should be one of the alternative models for clinical services and they expect to offer these services to the whole Pakistan particularly the remote areas in the future, slowly and gradually.
