Dr. Ayaz is a Specialist Practitioner in Revenue Enhancement and Narcotics Control, Economic Crimes Investigations. Research in the Legal Regime for
Anti-money Laundering and Countering Terrorist Financing (AML/CFT). He has done two PhD Degrees, one in Sociology of Crimes. the other in Countering
the Financing of Terrorism from University of Peshawar. He is currently serving as the Chief Coordination Officer (BPS Scale – 21) in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Centre of Excellence on Countering Violent Extremism.
He represented the Government of Pakistan at the 4th Regional Counter Terrorism Financing summit 2018 in Bangkok. He has attended and conducted multiple trainings on Countering Violent Extremism in Pakistan. He has been a
member of multiple national level policy analysis and development forums of
Pakistan.
