Dr. Nadeem Abbas is a moderate and prominent Shia scholar of the country. He received his PhD in Islamic Studies from the National University of Modern Languages. His thesis, which is known for its interfaith harmony in the context of Ijtihad among the major schools of thought of Islam. Nadeem Abbas has also been a part of several international conferences where he has explained the reasons behind sectarian differences in Islam and their solutions in the light of the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him). He is currently serving in the Faculty of Islamic Studies at Air University Islamabad. He lectures the young generation on peace, tolerance, brotherhood, interfaith and sectarian harmony through digital and social media for the development of a prosperous and peaceful Pakistan.
